TMS ^PLUS Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and Authorized Auditors (Ethiopia) now renamed as Tafesse, Shisema and Ayalew Certified Audit Partnership TMS ^PLUS is a privately held authorized audit firm in Ethiopia owned by three prominent Chartered Certified Accountants (UK)-Mr. Tafesse Freminatos, d Mr. Shisema Shewaneka and Mr Ayalew Asres all  of them having longtime and wide experience and competence especially in areas of External audit Financial Management, Business Management Auditing, Accountancy and  Management Consultancy.

• Expand the established personal goodwill into Company goodwill. This will only be possible by promoting qualified and motivated employees to management level and at the ultimate to partnership level.
• Devote a sizable portion of each year’s returns toward upgrading the facilities of the Firm.

CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The firm covers for all exam related fees for our staff whether for ACCA exams or for University studies in Accounting.

It is a requirement of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to ensure continuous professional development (CPD) for all its members; hence the founding members are complying with these requirements. This gives them ample opportunity to keep abreast with current events and developments. All other staff members are also attending further education to keep abreast of the ever-changing business environment. The Firm is investing widely in this respect. We have arranged both short-term refreshment course in-house and create contracts with training service providers externally. At present the Firm has over one hundred eighty audit assignment, both locally and externally funded businesses.

EXPERIENCE OF THE FIRM

Our firm has a total of fifteen years of experience which is consist of nine years after merger of the three firms and five years before merger. (Please refer to the attached company profile for details).

STAFF

Currently we have fifty five permanent audit staff, out of which five are qualified accountants (ACCA or FCCA). The reaming staff has BA in accounting and Diploma as a minimum qualification and all studying for their ACCA qualification under the firm’s staff development program. The Company has also the assistance of three contractual staff whenever the need arises of whom are ACCA members.

OFFICE

The firm has three offices two are located in Haayahulet Mazuria which are easily accessible to clients and staff, one at Quality building and the other is at Industrial Project Service building. The third office is located near enderase hotel on the way from kasnches to Aware. .

STATUS OF THE FIRM

Our firm is categorized under group “A” by the Office of the Auditor General (OFAG) as per recent evaluation. Our firm is designated as a Public Audit firm by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia AABE) and is also classified as Grade “A” by the Office of Federal Auditor General (OFAG) and our staff and partners are conversant with IFRS, IPSAS and ISA.
